Living amongst the Yawanawá tribe in the Amazon jungle for five years, Lydia was fully immersed in their culture and way of life. This profound experience has granted her a deep understanding and knowledge of the indigenous medicines and their spiritual power for healing. Lydia studied these medicines extensively, learning about their properties and participating in various healing diets as well as learning and helping to make the medicines. Additionally, she has participated in self study with sacred plants medicines with the Santo Daime church and the Shipibo peoples from Peru and the Katukina Peoples in Brazil, further enriching her understanding of indigenous healing traditions and practices. Through these experiences it has allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of their essence and incorporate them into her therapeutic practice.

"I can only lead you as far as I've journeyed within myself."
My commitment to your healing journey is deeply rooted in my own personal experiences. I believe that true empathy and understanding can only come from having traversed similar paths ourselves. That's why I approach therapy not only as a trained professional, but also as fellow traveler on the road to self-discovery. By embracing my own growth and transformation, I am better equipped to guide and support you along your own path. Together, we'll explore the depths of your inner world, drawing from our shared experiences to foster connection, insight, and healing.
